I enjoy the challenge of designing and making and strive to create pieces that are tactile and beautiful as well as functional. My Heritage collection brings a contemporary feel to pieces that echo valued traditions, qualities and objects that have been passed down through generations. For my tableware I draw on the history of dining, ceramics, furniture and flatware to inform both form and pattern. The work is decorated using a transfer technique and glazed and fired to suit its purpose.
